AI’s will play by player chosen constrained victory rules.
Players will now start with one ship on impossible difficulty.
Megabot strength has been increased.
Wonder Victory now requires 9 wonders.
AI will now attempt more missions per turn on Impossible difficulty .
AI will now use stealth more often.
The Negotiate button on the bridge view is now named “Negotiate”.
Fixed the damage meter in the Fleet Overview when ship need repair.
The How to Play screen now states that a population victory is but one way to win the game.

Good, not great
Decent game, i'm a fan of civilisation since the early days, so I was also interested in starships.
Purchased it for 5euro which is the correct price imo
I like the hex grid and the ship updates
It is a bit too easy, I won a game on moderate on my first attempt. I now win hard without any issues
i hate the fact that later in the game when you have a big fleet that you need to beat the enemy time and time again.
A huge plus is that there a no iap whasoever, what a relief!!
Overall: misses depth and is a bit too easy, but if you can pick it up on sale, I would do so.
Broken
It was a great little game, alas it is broken and mo longer works on my new ipad Pro…
Ace patrol with the stars...
Ace patrol was a refreshing game about airplanes conflit and was fun and challenging. Starships is the same in Space. You'll have to do some 4x job but You'll be most of your Time moving ships on the hexamap. I liked sid games for 25 years but this one miss depth.
