Seems easy but..
I have tried to use the application several times. Once I managed to get a taxi, and it worked well on cash. Second time I used it, the depart place did mysticly change - and I notised it only when the taxi did not turn up. I am sure I had the correct addresses (depart and destination) when clicked the ’validate’ button. In email confirmation it turned to be something completely different. Still cannot understand what happened, and it cost me extra 5€. No way I use it anymore.
Poorly managed system
The app presents glitches when trying to enter the pickup address. The by far worst feature of taxis bleus is however the fact that they do not train their drivers on how the system works. My husband and I have both used it several times to get to the airport or train station faster only to have to spend another 10 minutes each time trying to explain to the driver that our credit card was going to be charged and that he would get the money from the TBs, sometimes either paying (again) on the spot because we had a plane/train to catch and no time to talk (and then spend time seeking reimbursement from TB) or calling the company on the spot to explain to the driver (who ‘was using the platform for the first time’). The first time this happened to me was May 2019, we are now in November 2019 and that is still the case. Another time, I ordered a TB for a specific time. The driver arrived 5 minutes earlier and when I got in exactly at the time I had ordered the car for, he had been running the meter already for 5 minutes. I really don’t understand why it is so difficult to train and vet drivers on how the system work and how to behave so as to give the company a good reputation. If they are simonis clueless, they should look into other countries and how these platforms work.
