I discovered the Chive just before deploying to Afghanistan because a colleague told me it might be "useful" when away from home.
I thought he meant it was some kind of porn site but er...I went ahead and checked it out anyway.
Loved it instantly! They have just the right mixture of beautiful creatures and fun stuff. I like girls, they have 'em. I like cats, they have 'em. I like humor, they have it.
People have been telling me I look like Bill Murray since I was 16, which at the time wasn't really flattering. Now, however, it turns out he's their Mascotte! Me happy!
They also like service members and rescue workers alike, which is already pretty nice. They take the "like" to a whole new level however by actually stepping in and helping those who went the extra mile, foot, inch, you name it!
They organize events to raise money to help wherever they can, albeit for service members, hurricane victims or diseased people.
You see, not your regular Babe-site!
Only down side, and the reason for a 4 star rather than a 5, is that, probably because of the sheer number of pictures they publish, the same pictures come back regularly. Seems benign, but if you're away from home and downloading a picture can take up to a minute because of the ultra fast Internet service (NOT!), it can be frustrating.

Memory consumer
I love the app as much as I love the Chive, but this version is taking to much memory. I'm running already over 1gb and the is no way to clear memory
