Dip your toes in and go back to where it all began as you team up as detective duo Old Dog and Ally against the Cryptic Killer. For the first time in the series, you'll encounter a labyrinth of puzzles and challenges laid by one of the most devious minds in the world. Solve puzzles, crack codes, and find a way out.

THE STORY SO FAR

Years ago, the twisted Cryptic Killer was put away behind bars at the infamous Anagram Asylum. But today, he's back, and he's taunting the detectives. Did they catch the wrong guy, or are they looking at a copycat killer?

A new lead arrives in the form of a mysterious locked box, delivered directly to their addresses. Detectives Ally and Old Dog are once again sent on a chase that'll challenge them unlike any case before. Explore new locations, crack codes, and unravel the mystery. In this prequel, you're invited to step into the detectives' shoes and return to where it all began.

THE ONLY WAY TO ESCAPE IS TO WORK TOGETHER

Two minds are better than one, and the only way you'll be able to crack the Cryptic Killer's codes is by working together. Through separate screens, you and your friend will each be given half of a puzzle at each location. Communicate, collaborate, and work together to push your puzzle-solving skills to the limit.

Spijtig

Spijtig dat je dit spel maar voor de helft kan spelen, voor de andere helft moet je een ander spel installeren en daarvoor moet je betalen. Het spel op zich is wel een leuk concept tot je te horen krijgt dat je iets moet installeren en daarvoor dan nog voor moet betalen. Samen een mysterie oplossen is een ander concept dan dat we gewoon zijn en daarom ook zeer aantrekkelijk om te installeren. Je test of je samen kunt werken in dit soort situaties. Maar uiteraard is het wel spijtig dat je niet het hele spel kunt spelen want volgens mij zou dat goed in de smaak vallen bij de mensen. Ik geef dit spel 2,5 sterren.

Nice prequel

Great little teaser game. Nice art, pretty cool puzzles. Has convinced me to get the next game, albeit on Steam. Great execution on the two-player concept, even on my tiny phone screen this was fun to play! Hint button is also helpful, had one moment where it helped for sure:) Cannot contain my positivity here. Just try it!

Ignore the negative reviews left by those who can’t solve the puzzle of reading the description or paying for someone’s work. It must be the Cryptic Killer working overtime in the comments to keep his misdeeds concealed.
