Good but can do better
Great app basic on privacy. Good functionalities.
It easily has the potential to be the best messaging app ever.
For now, their major problem is their customer service. Why? Because either there is a strong miscommunication between them and the dev team, either they lie about obvious bugs.
I always try to report bugs but I’m never taken seriously. Last bug I’ve reported was about disappearing notifications on lock screen. I’ve been told to make sure I wasn’t having a session open to which I replied no. Two weeks later still no reaction. A day later I see an update with the follow fix : “fixed disappearing messages on lock screen”.
I wish that the customer service would be more transparent and honest. A better answer would have been : “we’re aware of this problem and are working on a fix”.
Also their response time is far too long.
Problem
When a new message arrived the app doesn’t send a notification of doesn’t give a ping… so I never see or know when I have a new message received. Really annoying
