The application is built around Epic Blue's Hyper Location™ technology, a location technology allowing seamless positioning of your people without the need for elaborate infrastructures. If something happens, an (automated) alarm is set off containing the accurate position of the person in need.

The platform gives a holistic overview of what is happening in real-time, and allows direct actions where needed.

Guardian 2.0 adds support for a separate panic button for silent and covert SOS alarms in case of danger (e.g. violence). Users can also enter free textual context information that will be included in any created alarm.
