What do Gorillaz, Kim Kardashian, Zayn Malik and celebrity photographer Nick Knight all have in common? They are all fans of Glitché, that’s what.

“What is it?” we hear you ask. Well, it’s a funky app created by Moscow-based developer Vladimir Shreyder. Glitché is a visual tool that turns your photographs and videos into gloriously distorted, pixellated digital art. The app uses algorithms to mimic system failures and glitches to mind-bending effect.

It’s earned rave reviews from The New York Times, BuzzFeed and Gizmodo for its ability to surprise – you never know what visual effect you’re going to get. But whatever the result, your images will cross the line into breakthrough, experimental visual art.
