The Bulgarian Association of Urology (BAU).
The purpose of BAU is to develop the urology in Bulgaria, to promote the highest standards of urological clinical care in the country and to improve the qualification, scientific research, work and collaboration of the medical specialist. The BAU, founded in 1960, provides invaluable support to the urologic community, advocating for urologists and their patients. The association develops evidence-based guidelines for urological practice to help ensure consistent, high-quality patient care. It advocates for urologists’ interests, patient rights, and healthcare policies. It supports the exchange of professional experience by organizing seminars, congresses, and other events for urologists, residents, and medical students.

Целта на БУД е да развива урологията в България, да насърчава най-високите стандарти на урологичната клинична помощ в страната и да подобрява квалификацията, научните изследвания, работата и сътрудничеството на медицинския специалист. БУД, основан през 1960 г., предоставя безценна подкрепа на урологичната общност, като се застъпва за уролозите и техните пациенти. Асоциацията разработва базирани на доказателства насоки за урологична практика, за да помогне да се осигури последователна, висококачествена грижа за пациентите. Дружеството се застъпва за интересите на уролозите, правата на пациентите и политиките в здравеопазването. Подпомага обмена на професионален опит чрез организиране на семинари, конгреси и други събития за уролози, специализанти и студенти по медицина.
