Review
No random dice...
It is quite obvious you play against a computer!
But you can actually learn a lot about the game if you observe how the computer plays.
Visually pleasing but frustrating!
Great graphics and gameplay but severely unbalanced. Some days you beat the bot fairly consistently and some days you can’t win a single game. The bot has impossible rolls sometimes 2 times in a row every other game. When I have 5/6 positions in my home board closed and the bot has only 3/6 I am not surprised when I end up losing 8/10 games which is statistically wrong. 3/10 games he would roll the single combination that would place his pip on the board and then hit my single pip that is 5-6 away. The odds of that should be about 1-2/36 with every roll. The bot also rolls the single pair needed to place both his pips on the single free place in my home board and then hit me and close a position in his home board in the same move unrealistically often. The dice rolls just seem rigged which is annoying and a shame, because the app is otherwise very pleasing. I hope they just make the rolls random, but for now I am changing it for sure.
Bad gaming experience
I gave the app a fair chance to shine and used it for a month. Couldn't connect with live players, so I had to play offline, and. the AI is relatively bad even on max level, so it compensates with the dices. I never seen such a ridiculous luck from anyone. And the ads make the game play even more annoying and distracting. Sorry but not sorry, one star at the best for not providing a meaningful game experience. And one star for creating a working app.
