Let’s be real here
This is arguably the best mobile game of all time. The monetization is what it is. You are not forced to pay for anything unless you want to be competitive in PVP content. The thing is that the PVE content is so satisfying and vast that really there is no need to pay. A year ago all the streamers were on a hate campaign against Diablo for views and controversy. Most of what they were claiming was hyperbolized purely for their own greed and benefit. The games is really really great.
Not really a Diablo game
Played it for few weeks then it suddenly stoped starting. Gets stuck on dl update files forever, few times passed that then gets stuck on downloading, then after weeks of playing all the downloaded data files are lost all the areas and misk. Fine I can dl that again … ops I can’t stays on 0 kb/s for hours. I works fine on my phone and no data is lost on it but I don’t play on it. Don’t have the habit playing on a phone so I use mini. I have my tablet iPad Pro for games, but This game isn’t working on it. So what now? Well nothing, I guess I’m done for now.
Also don’t get me wrong it’s OK for mobile game, but that is not a Diablo game. Never been very competitive so the monetisation that everybody is yapping about although a bit to pushi an annoying didn’t bother me much. What bothers me is that this game is more like Diablo skinned Lost Ark. It looks like Diablo, sounds like Diablo, have some Diablo lore in it, everything is Diablo teamed … but feels and plays like Lost Ark.
Let’s just hope Diablo 4 is nothing like this game.
Tons of loot boxes and micro transactions.
I know this is a mobile game and most of those are monetised like this, but it is insane to not be able to earn any of the premium currencies through playing the game. Not only that, but your endgame is entirely dependant on you spending somewhere between a 100 and 200$. You need to spend a ton of money to be able to earn gems in their “Rifts” which are essential for your gameplay and builds. The graphics are good and it genuinely feels like playing Diablo 3, since you have the same characters and skills, and the story is almost fully voiced, but after that - the endgame which is tied with a LOT of money hits. After you are done with the campaign I would recomend
To just quit the game.
