Problem with boarding pass online check-in
No one answered me, so I’m writing here in connection to the boarding pass SOF- TSF. I requested online check-in few weeks ago and waited for the flight time to approach. Meanwhile I received email for online check in and when I tried to do the checking, there was a problem loading the page (I have screenshots sent by email). I tried several times to do the checking. Unexpectedly, the night before the flight (last night) without any reason or explanation, I received an email saying that my only option is to check in at the airline. I thought there is a technical problem with the app, but when we went to the airport, they told us there are not informed for any problem and they should check in us for the cost of 55€ per person, if we still want to take the flight. Apparently, we were left with no choice.
I want to ask why should we had to pay the tax and to be checked in at the airport if throughout the whole time I was tracking the app and its emails and for sure I would do the online check in if I had that possibility?
What can I do to avoid the same situation for the return flight?
