The Journ-E App is a convenient and accessible online journal for student athletes looking to reduce stress, relieve anxiety, and improve athletic performances. Sports are as much of a mental battle as they are physical, so it is important that every athlete trains their mind along with their body. One of the most effective ways to do this is through journaling! The Journ-E App provides helpful prompts to guide users as they document and reflect on their struggles with discipline, stress, focus, confidence, and a variety of other topics.

What’s New

Version 1.04

This new version utilizes sentiment analysis, an AI model designed to evaluate mood in user text input. Journ-E now analyzes all user input, and reports detected mood directly to the user. This mood assessment can then be compared to the user's pre-journaling self-assessment.

Next, Journ-E is incorporating notifications. Per request, Journ-E will send users a daily notification at 8 a.m. with a checklist of 5 user-inputted goals for the day. With these goals in mind, our users are ready to take on anything! This checklist feature will hold users accountable and remind all student-athletes to stay focused. Shoot for the moon!
