Search options
You could think about adding a more detailed/selective filter for the location field in the search option. Now you can either choose specific country or worldwide. But if you’re searching for position which can be worked remotely, you cannot see it. Or at least add the option to select only Europe or only the USA etc.
Ads panel developed only for certain countries
The ad manager is very unfriendly and it is quite racist, as when I use it in US, I have options to contact the support center quickly and with variety of options, and when I am creating campaigns in the insignificant for the LinkedIn country of Bulgaria, these options are cut.
For example the “create a ticket” option disappears (noone cares to deal with your Bulgarian ticket).
Then if you use the live chat option you get:
- someone from support who does not speak English
- they decide its time to cancel conversation if there is 3 sec lag
- I have logs where I ask for campaign options and support says there are 2, and when I mention third, they suddenly remember that yes, that works too [100 lines apologies following]*convo canceled again*
When trying to change data you need a map, nothing is intuitive, but when you try to contact support after you find nothing, the only option is closed FAQ, with no opportunity to ask further.
Such a fair-developed platform, yes! Where they get your money, but assist only if you are in certain countries.
My only recommendation:
Amazing app! I am pretty satisfied with my experience in it!
My only recommendation is to make it possible to change the visibility of a post after sharing it. It has happened to me and to my friends to click “Connections only” by mistake, and then not being able to make the post public. :(
