SCVTV’s mission is to operate the City of Santa Clarita’s public television channel and Community Media Center under contract with the Santa Clarita Public Television Authority; to provide its platform and media services through community access and original programming opportunities that highlight local arts and culture, musicians, history, education, government, nonprofits and civic affairs; and to facilitate educational production and marketing training/ opportunities/ resources.

SCVTV is the 501c3 nonprofit community service organization that operates the Santa Clarita Valley's public television channel under contract with the City of Santa Clarita, Santa Clarita Community College District (College of the Canyons), the William S. Hart Union High School District and the Saugus, Newhall, Sulphur Springs and Castaic school districts.
