Tracking your spending can be tricky. Whether’s it an impromptu extravagant dinner or that twice-daily and surprisingly pricey coffee hit, it’s incredibly easy to torpedo a month’s budget. Consider Spendee your friendly personal accountant. You tell the app your weekly, monthly or annual budget and plug in your expenses as you go. You’ll be serviced with helpful notifications when you’re close to hitting prescribed limits, graphs and pie charts to analyse your spending (that can be exported to your desktop computer) and the ability to work in multiple, sharable budgets to keep a handle on your family finances.
Great App
The app itself is great. All the logical functionality is there, easy to use, great UI and it really helps. One suggestion on my end is to improve the website. Sometimes I want to check on the analytics using my laptop and enjoy a big screen “real estate” but I can not filter by labels to see the breakdown inside or across categories. For example I have label “food” and it is present in the category “grocery” and category “outside” this way in the app I can check on my overall expenses for those categories, but I can also check my food expenses that are present in more than one category. Sadly this is not possible in the website at the moment.
Sub-Category
Hello,
I’m using spendee app for two months, I really like that I can add my bank accounts and Revolut and now is easier for me to track all my spendings. There is one thing that a really missed from my previous spending app is that I need to have sub-categories for example: Food&Drinks And then to have options to add custom sub-category: Eating out; OfficeLunch; OrderFood and etc. I know that in the current release I can do that by adding new categories, but I need to have: Total amount spend for Food&Drinks and then Sub-totals :) Thank you in advance :)

Thank you for this review and suggestion! We're not planning to bring subcategories to Spendee. Instead, we're planning to improve the current hashtag management so you could use them in a similar way. 🤩
