We were out of town for a while. I drove for 5 hours to come home. As soon as we were in Sofia, around 20:30, we ordered from a pizza place that's a 15-minute walk from our home and a 5-minute drive. After confirming, the app said the order would take around 40 minutes to deliver. After the 5-hour drive, I just wanted to get home, grab a bite, and rest before another busy week. Little did we know we would have to wait an hour and a half while hungry, which ruined the 4 hours we had to cool down and take a break. We had two soft drinks as well as the pizzas, which the delivery man forgot. They do not notify you in any way that the delivery will be late—no indication whatsoever. The app constantly showed 40 minutes for delivery until around 21:30, when it started to count down. There is no way to reach any kind of customer service to file a complaint. Services like this were created to make their customers' lives a bit easier, but Takeaway has become one of the most anti-consumer companies. It bumps up the prices of restaurant goods, makes you pay for delivery, and adds a random service fee out of nowhere. This situation has happened for the third or fourth time, which is why I'm reporting them to the Consumer Protection Commission. I'm deleting the app, my account if possible, and this was the last time I will use their useless service.
