Great app and service, does all it promises and I will never call a taxi by the phone if it still does. There was a minor difference in the last run with the point where the taxi expected us and we had to call it from the app, but other than that it was all great.
Lots of problems with this one:* If you call a taxi to a large building which has different entrances on several streets (e.g. shopping mall) - big pain in the b*tt to explain where you should be picked up, cause, presumably, drivers don’t see exact point where you put the mark on the map and you have no means to share your location to make it easier.* Your order can come or it may not, you can get message that your ride has come and it will be no one there. The app can get some bug and your order may just disappear, and when you call other ride and cruise off - you will get an angry message from driver from previous order that he waited for you for 10 mins and rode off and that you will be black listed and wont be able to use this marvelous app for 72 hours or so. * You can’t just change your credit card if you liked one to your account, or delete it - there is a whole process with worst support ever involved, and no one promises that you will succeed. * At the end of the ride driver can tell you that something bugged in the system and no card payment came through and will insist on paying in cash. After that in a couple of minutes you easily can get a text that same amount has been deducted from your account nevertheless. And once again you have no choice but trying to contact with horrible customer service. And the list of faults and problems just go on and on. Don’t fool yourself and don’t install this sh*t, on call services just work better in Bulgaria.
The app is okay. Used it several times, however there are minor differences where the driver expect us and where we wait. In the last run the driver passed us and we had to give him a sign to stop. Once they stopped wasn’t sure if we are the right people. The ridiculous thing comes when you link your credit/debit card to the app. I find it nearly impossible to unlink it now. There is no option to unlink it yourself at all. It takes ages to get a response back when u contact the customer service team, and when u do they keep asking you why do u want to unlink ur card, and wont do it if you do not give them an exact answer. Few days so far dealing with this and my card is still linked to the app. 0 customer service. 1 star from me and still waiting to have my issue resolved!
The app has 3 extra fees it charges on top of the standard fees. You call a taxi from the app, pay a call fee, as if there’s a way to use the app without calling thought the app, then base fee which is just a fee, no explanation, then electronic app fee that is called a tip for electronic payment in the app but you can’t switch off. Then the drivers give you low rating if you don’t allow them to charge you more than the meter shows. Can’t we just have a fixed rate and have the app as a convince that makes the customers prefer the service over the competition?
I’ve been using Taxi Me for over two years already. So far I’ve been happy with the service provided. In the recent weeks I’ve noticed huge decrease in customer service mainly because I’ve chosen the option to have a pet with me.I’ve had a few drivers cancel the order on premises because of application malfunction. It doesn’t notify them and that creates issues for both parties. I’m deeply disappointed with the service provided and will definitely use another application from now on.
The app is easy to use and practical but the drivers themselves do not improve. They are the same grumpy cheating people like they always have been with some exceptions. I am done with using taxis in this town.
