Wonderful calendar

Hello, I’ve been using this calendar for a while now and I like everything about it so far. This app and the Actions app seem to overlap a bit. Please explain what are the main differences and how do they supplement each other if I decide to use both?

Thanks,
Filip

Developer Response ,

Hi Filip Z! Thanks for your message and appreciation for the apps. I can explain a bit more about the apps, their purpose, and how they work together.

Timepage is focused on calendar events. It syncs with the iOS system calendar and has access to any calendars and calendar accounts that you have added to the iOS system. iOS provides a way for apps like Timepage to add and update events in the system calendars, but unfortunately, it doesn't provide a way for apps to create new calendars. The easiest way to add a new calendar is to use Apple's Calendar app to create the new calendar, and then Timepage will see it and have access to it.

Actions is focused on tasks and "to-do" lists. You can create tasks, add them to lists, schedule them, and mark them completed when they are complete. Actions don't sync its data with other iOS apps; it syncs with our own Moleskine Studio cloud service. You can access your Actions data on your iOS device, Android device, and via our Actions web app (which is useful for accessing your tasks from your computer).

Actions and Timepage have some integration where you can see your scheduled Actions tasks in Timepage on that day they are scheduled. And you can see your Timepage calendar events in Actions on the day shown in the Action Schedule screen.
I hope this helps. Regards, Anj

Bug after update

Something went wrong after the last update. When you browse through the days and press the arrow to go back to "today" it does bring you to another day or it doesn't show you any tasks on a busy day. Keeps getting confused until you close app and open again. Until now working fine and really good app.

Developer Response ,

Hello there! Thanks for your message and sorry to hear that this is happening. Our support team is standing by to help with any app problems, so please contact us via the Help screen in the app or email at timepage@moleskinestudio.com.
We look forward to talking with you! - Anj

Widgets

Hello, this app is great. The only thing that you can fix is the widget for today’s events - it’ll be better if it shows the events for today and tomorrow at the same page :)

Developer Response ,

Hello Raay5858! Thanks for leaving us such a wonderful review. Your suggestion certainly sounds like it would be a useful addition to the app.
We have a Feature Request board where our members and team decide what we make next. Would you mind adding this idea there? Adding it yourself means you'll be notified automatically when it's being built or is released. You can access the board directly from the Help screen in the app (which means you won't have to sign in again). Regards, Anj
