Wizz Air - Book Flights 4+

The check-in user experience is the worse I’ve seen this year among at least 20 airlines. Not only it has no way to pull automatically the relevant information from the user profile and you have to fill it in manually, but also the sliders for date selection for Issue Data for your IDs offer only dates in the future aaand the for Expiry date -> you guessed it, dates in the past... A very weird reverses time continuum, shameful for a company with these marketing budgets, there are 3 person startups from the region with more polished apps.

Can’t believe I’ve been unable to book a flight for four days. Four days. It’s insulting how they don’t even have a proper customer service. You’d go bankrupt actually trying to contact them on the phone, so I exclude that as an option. Long story short: I got a membership account as a result of having a credit card, which seems to be working pretty fine until I reach the checkout phase. It simply REFUSES to let me pay. Says the website is under maintenance or my session had expired - both are false, I’m more than convinced that an airline website not working for like a week would’ve made the news. As for my session, I tried to book so many times that it takes me roughly 1 minute to get to the checkout. So no, my session can’t have expired. Also, each time I’m thrown out, my first and last names are reset and I have to manually refill them. When I try booking in the app, my the names are set to blank (empty) but unlike in the website, they CANNOT be changed, preventing me from doing virtually anything. So the app is useless. There’s obviously either something wrong with my account or they’re deliberately making my experience as intolerable and insulting as possible. I really want to jump onto the cheap flight train and start travelling more often, but it seems increasingly like a funny dream with each passing day.

Ik reis nu al van voor de corona en met de corona met Wizzair en nog nooit heb ik onopgeloste problemen met hen gehad. Ook doorheen de coronatijden kon ik met hen vliegen van Sofia naar Nederland en zo toch in België geraken altijd en terug. Als boekhouder was dit van levensbelang om notariële akten en zo te kunnen laten doorgaan met erfenissen, verdelingen, onroerende goederen, vennootschapsaanpassingen. En de prijzen zijn superscherp als je zoals ik als zelfstandige flexibel bent in de data. Al mijn klanten genieten daardoor ook van mijn extreem lage boekhoudprijzen en juridische bijstand (ben ook gerechtsdeskundige en transportdeskundige overigens). Dank u al vele jaren, Wizzair!!
