‘BBK Business’ provides a full digital onboarding experience for new and existing corporate customers, where local corporates can open multiple accounts with different currencies and apply for the corporate financial services offered by the BBK Group.
Eligibility criteria:
- Only local companies with a valid CR registered with the MOIC.
- Only Active & Inactive CR status as per the MOIC records.
- Shareholders & Authorized Signatories must be holders of a Bahraini CPR.
- Only non-FATCA reportable companies and individuals.
Company types allowed to be digitally onboarded –
- Individual Establishment
- W.L.L (Limited Liability for single person)
- W.L.L (Limited Liability for more than one person)
- B.S.C Closed (Bahrain Shareholding Company)
- General Partnership
Type of Accounts and currencies available to be requested on the app:
- Current Account (BHD, USD, GBP, EUR)
- Call Account (USD, GBP, EUR, SAR, KWD)
- Super Saver Account (BHD)

Utter stress and disappointment
The app is extremely confusing and inconvenient.
It would require you to upload documents from acrobat reader which needs to purchased. Not sure why the app is not designed to access the photo gallery like any other app on the cyber world. After trying and trying and trying again you would decided to personally go to the bank and have you company account opened rather than loosing your mind and becoming crazy over the app. So much work is need to improve the app.
Totally the worst experience
I wasted days and days with this application trying to open an account, I would like to share my experience with this bank:
1- There is no parking for customers in the main office branch!
2- The staff are mean and not friendly.
3- long waiting hours for service.
4- Inadequate staff members.
5- When you finish from the complex requirements of opening an account at the bank you will start another suffering with their strange application.
6- The application will keep tells you that you have entered the wrong password even when you copy, rewrite it exactly similar to what you get it from the bank email.
7- Long story short >>> Go away from this bank.
