Sign up now for your free Dropbox Plus trial. You’ll get 2 TB (2,000 GB) of storage space - that’s enough room to save files from all your linked devices. And with Dropbox Rewind, you can roll back any file, folder, or your entire account, up to 30 days.

Existing Plus customers can upgrade to Dropbox Professional. With 3 TB (3,000GB), you can store all your stuff - from work projects to personal photos - and have space to spare. You and your clients can comment on most file types without leaving Dropbox. And you can protect your work with a watermark, add shared link controls, or rewind your account up to 180 days.

Before starting a trial or completing payment, you’ll see the plan price. This amount will be charged to your iTunes account at confirmation of purchase and on renewal and will vary by plan and country. Dropbox subscriptions renew monthly or yearly, depending on your plan. Your account will be charged for renewal 24 hours before the end of your current billing period. To avoid auto-renewal, turn it off within at least 24 hours before your subscription renews. You can turn off auto-renewal anytime from your iTunes account settings. You can manage and cancel your subscriptions by going to your account settings on the App Store after purchase.

Editors’ Notes

We’d be lost without Dropbox—it’s an indispensable part of our digital toolbox. But for all its usefulness, the thing we appreciate most about this cloud-storage app is how little we have to think about it. Whether we’re sharing documents between devices, uploading photos directly from our camera, or emailing large files to friends, it all just works—seamlessly and effortlessly.

Awesome app, makes your life easier

I’ve been using this since ‘A’ levels. Stores everything I need effortlessly. I used it to store ebooks so I do not need to bring my textbook to school. It’s also easy for me to use when I need to revise before an exam when I do not have time to flip through my notes.
Now I’m in uni, still using it. Only difference is that you should definitely install Dropbox on your desktop as well. Do notes on your laptop, read your notes when you’re on your phone.
Advice: there’s an upgrade to Dropbox now that it’s no longer free to download and store documents for offline use. So, it would be unwise to store textbooks/large files that would require you to download every time you need to open it. However, there is no problem if you’re using Dropbox on your desktop. You do not need to wait for it to download.

The only thing I wish for this app to improve is to enable the sharing of documents without needing to link other people to my Dropbox. I would rather have an independent copy for other people to download, rather than have other people access the document on my folder - considering all the changes they make could potentially directly affect my own copy! For this reason alone, I have been doing extra steps to share documents through my desktop instead of through my phone. Can be a bit of a hassle especially when you’re moving from class to class.
