Description
eWalls is a climbing gym route selection and management app designed for climbers using the eWalls LED system. It allows climbers to browse and switch color-coded routes on and off, rate and comment on routes, log their climbs, and track their progress. Users can follow fellow climbers and their favorite gyms, earning scores with each route they log. They can then compare their rankings within the community. The app provides stats for progress on a weekly, monthly, or overall basis. A top-view scheme of the climbing gym lets users easily navigate through the different sections, displaying a list of all available routes in a given section. A handy filter tool allows them to sort these routes conveniently. Once a route is selected, climbers can light it up and start climbing. Climbers can also give feedback to the gym by rating and commenting on the routes. The LED-lit hold system allows any hold to be illuminated in various colors, providing gym owners and route setters with greater diversity in hold selection. This system also enables overlapping routes to share the same holds, which can be lit in different colors. Users receive notifications on their dashboard whenever a gym they follow posts new routes.
