The platform protects false landlords

I have been victim of a false landlord. I reserved an apartment and the supposed landlord asked for a deposit before I see the apartment. I talked to Badi that I was not feeling secure and they oriented me to perform the deposit and also stated that I would lose the money from the reserve if I didn’t do it as the landlord says. In this scenario, I opted to follow Badi’s suggestion because the reserve money was higher than the deposit. Then, after receiving the deposit, the false landlord cancelled my reservation and now is not returning my money. Badi returned me the reservation money, but they refused to share the personal information of the scammer.
