LENS SIMULATION
Leica LUX brings the world of Leica to your iPhone by imitating a variety of legendary Leica lenses. You can explore the unique world of Leica lenses, each offering its own image style. Lens simulations include classics – such as the Summilux-M 28mm f/1.4 ASPH. and the Noctilux-M 50mm f/1.2 ASPH. – the app is continuously being expanded to include additional lenses. The custom software engine also creates bokeh quality images, a style synonymous with Leica photography, directly in your iPhone.
ICONIC LEICA LOOKS
Leica LUX is based on Leica's own renowned colour science and offers the same colour corrections and film presets used in Leica cameras. These include Leica Looks such as Leica Classic, Leica Contemporary, Leica Black & White and Leica Vivid. A total of twelve Looks are available that open the door to artistic expression, giving your images rich textures, emotional nuance and individuality.

Version 1.2.4
Work around an issue in iOS 18.0 that caused a red hue shift in ProRAW photos when imported into Lightroom or Capture One.
As a result of this workaround, ProRAW photos will not have GPS coordinates in their EXIF data, although location information remains available in the Photos app.
This workaround is only required for iOS 18.0.x, and is not necessary for future iOS versions.

A proposta do aplicativo é incrível e consegue superar a câmera nativa, quando funciona como esperado. O processamento de cor realmente faz jus à reputação da marca Leica, que conseguem uma estética natural de filme, sem parecer um filtro forçado. Os looks disponíveis na versão gratuita dão resultados orgânicos para as fotos, exceto em baixa iluminação onde o ruído começa a degradar a imagem. Outra vantagem é o aplicativo habilitar o salvamento em formato raw para iPhones mais antigos que não tem essa funcionalidade. Porém, o app ainda apresenta alguns bugs relacionados a exposição automática, tendendo a ficar estourada ou com o iso desnecessariamente alto. A interface é elegante, mas também tem alguns problemas em telas menores e ainda poderia melhorar sua usabilidade. Queria muito poder usar a versão premium, mas o preço da assinatura mensal do serviço ainda é um tanto incompatível com o contexto socioeconômico do Brasil. Seria um sonho se algumas funções do modo manual fossem utilizáveis gratuitamente.
