The Remidio Anterior Imaging Module device, is a portable device that digitises any standard slit lamp. The device enhances imaging on slit lamps with 2 or more steps. It is a complete medical device, and comes with a universal iPhone adapter, advanced optics beam splitter, unlimited cloud storage, and Remidio's patient management software.

The Remidio AIM application works directly with the AIM device and can be used by any doctor, clinician, or optometrist for photo documentation and video recording of a patient's eye to record pathologies. The application also allows for generation and printing of reports, and the photos / videos can then be wirelessly shared.

The app is compliant with both HIPAA and GDPR, and the Anterior Imaging Module device and application are both CE and FDA registered.

Use cases include patient education, student education, photo/video documentation, workshops, and case presentations.

Versão 2.0.1

Version 2.0.1 contains a critical bug fix that prevents the application from crashing during certain scenarios.

Version 2.0 contains many significant updates to improve the usage of the AIM device:

1) The application now supports larger images on the PDF reports, and includes hospital information on every page.
2) The application now makes fewer fields mandatory when creating a patient-exam.
3) The application supports low-security mode, allowing the user to disable certain security features for the purposes of convenience.
4) The application now supports the multi-site functionality.
5) The application now has an updated disease list that matches the ICD-10 code list for ophthalmology.
6) Major security updates to ensure that all patient data is safe, even on jailbroken devices.
7) An Auto delete function that allows a user to automatically delete older exams once it has been safely backed up to the cloud. Aside from security benefits, this will ensure that the iPhone never runs out of space.
8) Bug fixes and various performance improvements.
