Scalar is a fun, interactive way to learn scales and study ear training. Scroll through all the jazz scales, hear the related chord and play along with the included metronome.
The ear training exercises are based on the incredible work of David Baker. We've "appified" his exercises so that you can configure which chord/scales to work on as well as other parameters. These exercises are one of the best methods to help you get your ears together!

Extremely Useful
Hi Guys! Thank you for this amazing app that is pushing forward my Jazz Training...
Only 03 issues:
1- On the Scale Sylabus mode, the button to change the Root of the scales is very small at the screen of an iPhone, making it difficult to select the appropriate scale;
2- It would be very useful if there was the option to change the roots, through the circle of fourth, automatically, on the Scale Sylabus mode, in order to speed up the process of learning...
3- On IPad; some keys like B, and Bb are not being rendered properly. The highest notes are disappearing....
