Prizes are funded by brands and local governments who share our passion for eliminating litter. Currently our prizes are funded by McDonald’s and local councils. In 2022 we won our categories in the prestigious MRW National Recycling Awards and the Zero Waste awards

Our vision

Look around and you’ll see litter everywhere. More than 30 million tons of litter are collected from streets in England every year. It ruins our communities, harms wildlife, pollutes our rivers and oceans and prevents waste getting recycled. The RSPCA receives on average, 10 calls a day about animals harmed by litter. The true number is probably a lot higher. This needs to change. A litter-free environment is possible by encouraging people to dispose of their trash responsibly. We don’t think nagging or threatening works. We believe that rewarding good behaviour is far more effective and fun. Is my data secure?

Your data is secure. Your personal data is never sold on; any information we share with local authorities, governments, municipalities and brands is totally anonymised and used for research purposes only. We hope this research will lead to a cleaner environment (eg: Where to site more bins; How to improve recycling rates; Identifying litter hotspots)

Does it have to be branded litter?
Not at all. We’re about preventing all litter, any brand or type. If it’s litter, put it in the bin.


Can I bin other people’s litter?
Sure. It can be your litter or any litter you collect. (Please take care when picking up others’ litter to ensure it’s free of germs or hazards. Where possible, use gloves).


What’s the chance of winning the jackpot?
It depends on the amount of litter that’s binned per day (for Spot Prizes) and per month (for the Jackpot) – but there’s one way of increasing your chances – bin more and invite friends too! The selection is totally random, conducted by trusted 3rd party professional adjudicators.


How do I know if I’ve won?
We’ll notify you through the App and if you’re a monthly jackpot winner you’ll get a call/text as well! Sometimes, for security, we need up to 48 hours to verify the win before paying out.
