ThoughtLight can be used for collecting user-generated content such as audio, text, photos, videos, and even geo-location. The app has offline accessibility, which enables participation even when a Wi-Fi connection is not available, as material can be created, then sent as soon as Wi-Fi becomes present. ThoughtLight provides researchers with the ability to include activity based questionnaires and also encourages open-ended responses.
