The Centre for Coordination of Agricultural Research for Southern Africa (CCARDESA) Mobile Learning App is tool designed to assist agricultural extension workers to learn more about climate change and agriculture in the Southern African Development Community (SADC) region.
The CCARDESA app provides the following interactive features:
LEARN - Find Technical Briefs on a variety of CSA and related subjects, as well as other knowledge resources and Knowledge Products
QUIZ - Take one of the quizzes to help you broaden your understanding of the key CSA themes.
DISCUSS - Take part in the online discussion forum.
PEOPLE - Find and connect with other stakeholders in the region in the People Directory.

Some features only function when connected to the Internet, such as the Discussion.
Connecting with other stakeholders also functions what connected to the Internet; however your existing directory will remain available.
Technical briefs access and the quizzes are available off line.

This App was developed by CCARDESA with support of the Southern African Development Community (SADC) and Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH ‘Adaptation to Climate Change in Rural Areas in Southern Africa (ACCRA) programme, implemented on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).
