Description
*This application is for Galaxy Buds+ and Galaxy Buds Live. Support for Galaxy Buds (SM-R170) is not available.
Open the charging case.
On your mobile device, tap Settings -> Bluetooth and then connect earbuds and mobile devices.
Launch the Samsung Galaxy Buds app, and the follow the on-screen instructions to complete the connection.
* The Samsung Galaxy Buds application connects Samsung Galaxy Buds+ and Samsung Galaxy Buds Live to your iPhone.
* Use the Samsung Galaxy Buds application to set up and manage the following features.
- Connect to and disconnect from a mobile device
- Earbuds & Charging Case battery status
- Ambient Sound (Samsung Galaxy Buds+ only)
- Active Noise Cancelling (Samsung Galaxy Buds Live only)
- Equalizer Setting
- Touchpad Setting
- Advanced Feature
- Find my Earbuds
- Earbuds Software Update
* Compatibility:
- iPhone 7 or later models with the iOS 10 and higher version
- The Galaxy Buds application is not compatible with Galaxy Buds (SM-R170)
* Settings and features provided by the Galaxy Buds application are only available when Galaxy Buds+ or Galaxy Buds Live is connected to your mobile device. Features will not work properly without a proper connection between your earbuds and your mobile device.

Please update switching between iPad and iPhone!
I was using iPad and Samsung S8 and I didn’t have any problems. But when I’m using iPhone and iPad I need to Reset settings EVERYTIME I want to switch between them. PLEASE fix it.

Hi there! Cross platform connectivity always poses some challenges so the developers need to find workarounds to certain things. The feature you're talking about is called Bluetooth multipoint which unfortunately does not work in iOS. The iOS application is a mix bag of surprises, we hope you'll discover more features to tweak as you explore the app further. It's worth noting that some of the features available in Android might not be available in iOS.

Buds 2 update
Hi Samsung team!
I think a lot of people would be grateful for adding buds 2 (and other buds) to this app. Limited access to the functionality of buds makes me really sad, cause I have chosen Samsung instead of Apple in this case…

Hi there! So far, the Galaxy Buds app in iOS supports only two models, the Buds+ and Buds Live. We'll let you know if there's any update on the matter. Thank you for your query.

I will never buy a Samsung product again because of such a bastard attitude towards customers. For Samsung doesn't care about customers. The application needs to be updated, and urgently, I'm tired of getting sprinkles of software update check headphones, and simple defects... horrible! Now I'm looking at other headphone manufacturers... Urgently optimize the application from errors in ios 16!!!

Note: The minimum requirement for a Galaxy Buds+/Live to work in iOS is satisfied by iPad 5th Generation or later models with iOS 10 and later versions. The Galaxy Buds app is not compatible with older models.
Also, please note that this application has been developed for iPhone, support for some later models of iPad is provided by scaling the application.
