This comprehensive app for wine lovers allows you to browse and buy from a curated list of offers, as well as search wines within your budget or that have been highly rated by the committed community of wine enthusiasts using the app. Buying is incredibly easy: pay with Apple Pay and in a few taps the wine is on its way.
But this is much more than a shopping app. As a member of the Vivino community you can also contribute to the reviews once you’ve tried your wines. This all helps towards building your own taste profile within the app. So, if you have consistently rated Californian pinot noir highly, the chart will show you. You can then choose to stick with your favourite flavours, or try something new.
There’s more fun to be had with the wine scanning function. Give any wine a sneaky scan and find out whether the hefty price tag on that Bordeaux is worth the spend. Check the ratings on that supermarket offer, or look in your own wine rack and scan to find out whether the bottle you’ve pulled out is a special one or a cheap one, only fit for cooking.
