About Family Sharing for in-app purchases

Family Sharing makes it easy for you and up to five family members to share purchases of some of your favourite apps. In addition, some apps now let you share subscriptions and other in-app purchases. Before you can share a subscription, you must enable Family Sharing. For step-by-step instructions on enabling Family Sharing, follow this link.

Go to your Apple ID in Settings and tap Subscriptions. You’ll see a list of all your active subscriptions; tap on the one you would like to share to see all of the subscription options.

If the subscription is shareable, you will see a Share with Family option. Select the option to enable the subscription for sharing with your family.

On the Family Sharing page, select the Purchase Sharing option, which will allow you to share eligible in-app purchases. Be sure that Share Purchases with Family is enabled under Purchase Sharing. If you have any in-app purchases that you do not wish to share, you can disable sharing by hiding the app in My Purchases. Note: not all in-app purchases are shareable.
