Description

To most people, pearls are considered precious gems, and are among the most popular jewels in the world. It should not be surprising that physicians consider a priceless bit of knowledge about their specialty a "pearl". For the diagnostic radiologist, a pearl may be the formerly elusive insight or fact that paves the way for a correct diagnosis or deeper understanding of a radiologic image.
A traditional component of radiology education, pearls are considered on a par with elements such as the teaching file or lecture series.
Pearls have also been a mainstay of www.CTISUS.com, where we post approximately 150 to 300 new pearls each month.
In this app, we present pearls across 28 of the most popular categories derived from the literature or our imaging experiences. The app also provides a search feature to enhance user interactivity. We look forward to sharing these new insights with you on the latest version where we present literally thousands of pearls.
