In the highly competitive arena that is Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, finding the right hero and mastering their unique abilities will put you on the path to victory.
Here are five mighty heroes that we love to play with, who can fit different play styles and dominate the battlefield in their own way.
Gusion
An assassin/mage hybrid hero who wields the power of enchanted daggers, Gusion delivers massive bursts of magical damage at close range.
With his ultimate skill Incandescence, Gusion can dash to the target, unleash his other skills (Sword Spike and Shadowblade Slaughter, both of which just got a cool-down reset), then dash out to escape. His Dagger Specialist passive ability deals extra damage to wounded targets while healing himself, easily hastening the enemies’ demise.
How to get the most out of Gusion: while he’s relatively weak at the start, jungling with the Beast Killer item can help him level up, and items such as Arcane Boots, Calamity Reaper and Concentrated Energy will boost his lethality immensely.
Guinevere
A fighter/mage hybrid heroine, Guinevere specialises in dealing lethal combos that immobilise her targets. She can open the fight with Spatial Migration to send enemies up in the air, then use the ultimate skill Violet Requiem to lock them in airborne status while dealing continuous hits.
Meanwhile, the Super Magic passive skill deals extra damage to airborne targets and her Energy Wave skill helps reduce all skill cool-down times, allowing Guinevere to make stronger and faster hits.
How to get the most out of Guinevere: to maximise her power, equip Guinevere with items that boost magical damage and reduce cool-down time, such as Calamity Reaper, Holy Crystal and Fleeting Time.
Harith
A mage who loves to get in close range then deal speedy hit-and-run attacks, Harith was designed to subvert the usual conventions of the mage role.
Thanks to his signature skill Chrono Dash, Harith can dart around the battlefield, getting more shield and higher damage output in the process. The ultimate skill Zaman Force amplifies this even further, allowing Harith to use Chrono Dash in rapid succession while also slowing down enemies.
How to get the most out of Harith: his survival and strength is determined by skill cool-down times, therefore Harith should be equipped with Magic Shoes and Calamity Reaper. His lethality can be improved with items such as Feather of Heaven and Holy Crystal, while Oracle helps him survive longer late in the game.
Esmeralda
What Esmeralda gives, she takes away. A tank/mage hybrid heroine who was designed around the shield mechanics, Esmeralda can give shield to enemies then take it back, boosting her own shield and healing herself in the process.
Thanks to all this, Esmeralda is nearly impossible to take down, all while she uses her Stardust Dance and Falling Starmoon skills to deal both physical and magical damage to enemies around her.
How to get the most out of Esmeralda: to improve both her sustained damage output and durability, you can equip her with items like Calamity Reaper, Feather of Heaven, Genius Wand and Queen’s Wings.
Lesley
A marksman/assassin hybrid heroine, Lesley is a lone wolf sniper who is most effective during mid-game. Her signature skill Master of Camouflage helps Lesley dash closer to targets while remaining unseen, then firing off a powerful shot.
Enemies thinking they can run away from her are often surprised by her Ultimate Snipe skill, which deals more damage to wounded targets at unlimited range. And should danger approach, Lesley can use Tactical Grenade to get away safely.
How to get the most out of Lesley: she should be equipped with items that boost speed and burst damage, such as Swift Boots, Windtalker and Berserker’s Fury. Meanwhile, Blade of the Heptaseas and Endless Battle perfectly complement her skills.
