PLEASE NOTE: The fonts are not automatically installed when you install the application. You need to open 1000 OpenType Fonts from your Applications folder and then click the Copy Files button in the main window to save the folder of fonts to a location on your computer. The PDF sample book is in the fonts folder that is copied to your computer from the Copy Files button. Download the Webfonts versions from the Webfonts menu option. Excellent Quality and Value
You can’t go wrong with 1000 fonts for $2 in this deal. I will repeat from an earlier review - very quick to unpack and copy the fonts to any location on your drive.
For my use there are many quality fonts included in this collection but the collection also contains a wide style of fonts where I believe any user can easily find 30 or 40 fonts they will appreciate and use regularly and many more that they will appreciate having access to.
It is important to pay attention to the included “_HowToInstallFonts.txt” document’s recommendation to not install all of these fonts at once. That is true any time if you are not using a specialized font manager. Large numbers of installed fonts will slow a machine down.
It does what it says but...
Good app, simple to use. Extracting all the fonts takes seconds, so you can dump the app right away. For $2 you can’t go wrong.
The only thing is this…there were only 998 fonts. Not quite the 1000 they advertised.
