Needs More

It’s overall a great and i just have some suggestions:
1. Please add a way to sell fish! i’m running out of storage! Mabye add it to one of the fishing places?
2. Add more stores the same three are boring after a while.
3. Let us have the ability to customize the inside of the house or just do kore with the house.
4. Make the fences able to connect at corners!
5. Make more creative daily tasks, the same ones interchanged every other day is boring.
6. Add more things to create (i.e Furnature, novelty items, more tools ect.)
7. Add more islands with different materials other than crystals and gems.
Other than these critiques the game is one of my favourites right now and i’d recommend it to everyone and anyone!

Hey, developer response here! Thank you so much for your review and for taking the time to write such a thoughtful feedback list! I'm going to try and reply to the points you mentioned:

1. Do you mean directly from the buildings themselves? As of now it's only possible to sell the fishes when you have them in your backpack. What you say it's interesting! Maybe some kind of market or fish exchange would be a good idea...
2. What are your ideas, what would you like to see other stores about? We are always happy to hear suggestions :)
3. That's definitely in our development roadmap, we really want to implement that as soon as possible, but we are only 2 people and it might take us some time. But it's something we dream about!
4. Good point, let's see what we can do about that.
5. I see, what other tasks would you like to see?
6. Ohhh that's a very good idea, we hadn't thought about that but it's honestly a great idea. We are going to think about what we could do!
7. We had some ideas about creating islands with different types of trees, and in the future islands that could have other elements like stores or exchange markets. How does that sound?

Not really a game. Small interactive Color screen where you can direct a boat around. The goal is, every six hours, to try to be the first to find an island that appears. Somehow, the same 10 people that have bought Pay2Win passes that give you a bunch of currency (used for flares) and faster boats and stuff find the island every single time. What a surprise! You can see that they’ve bought a pass next to their name.

Otherwise, completely boring and uninteresting “game” where you just direct your boat around, participate in one of two “missions” (pick up these yellow things in a circle or beat this ghost in a “race” on the exact same track every time).

You do these things when there’s no island to be found so that you can... upgrade your boat speed/buy flares that help you find islands. All in a feeble and hopeless attempt to find the island next time, which you won’t, because one of the pay2win people will find it before you, guaranteed.

Finding an island doesn’t even have a point. You find the island, wow yay. That’s literally it.

Oh, and it isn’t even actually multiplayer. You will never actually see another player. Every mile or so, the game just throws 3 random players names into a small area, and they sit there. Still. You can wave hi, or “push them back”, which doesn’t actually do anything. They will get a notification for either.

Thank you so much for playing and taking the time to give us your feedback; not gonna lie, being a two-folk indie studio, reading harsh reviews is not always fun, but the only thing we can do is gather more feedback, trying to improve it so it gets better and better. In order to do so, we would really like to discuss what could be improved for you to feel different about 1sland; if you could send us an email to 1sland@nada.studio, it would be great.

We have really tried to make the game as fair as possible, limiting the amount one can spend (you can't buy endless Passes), and trying to make the game super balanced. We feel we are getting there, because half of users among the top 10 have no Paddle pass at all, and are able to fully compete without any spent dollar; but we can certainly keep on getting better, and for that reason we would love to hear more from you.

I been playing for a while now and honestly I love it, amazing game! Amazing job :D.
