honest rewiew moron ,

Almost up to what it has promised.

As the name suggest. It is almost what it has promised. It is a safari extension so it only affects safari. I tested the free version.

From testing it blocks
-web page adds
-pop ups
-YouTube adds (safari only)
-all adds on the hub

It doesn’t block/has trouble with
-redirect adds on certain websites
-has trouble blocking scam/illegitimate websites

I have only done a few hours of testing. If there is more information I will add it In the future.

Overall, it is quite good for what it is, a free safari extension. It does the job well blocking and filtering the majority of adds and only letting a few slip through. If you are aware or at least have some experience navigating shady websites, this app alone is sufficient. I recommend getting this to spare yourself from dealing with the majority of adds. However i would not give it a 5/5 because it doesn’t not do the job perfectly. But overall I still recommend getting this, it saves a tone of time especially for those who spend large amount of time on add infested websites.

Developer Response ,

Thanks for your meaningful insights! Ad serving occasionally evolves, causing some ads to slip through. However, we keep updating our app to ensure it blocks new ad strategies. Additionally, the premium features include capabilities that further enhance the blocking effectiveness. Remember to enable all the preferred blocking features in the 'General' tab for optimal performance.
For persistent redirect ads, a temporary solution could be to temporarily pause ad-blocking:
(macOS) right-click on the reload icon -> "Reload Without Blockers";
(iOS) tap 'aA' -> 'Turn Off Content Blockers'.

Your feedback helps us improve, thanks!

Not working on YouTube anymore

This has stopped working on YouTube on my iPad. I’m using Safari, everything is updated.

Developer Response ,

The app needs to be properly enabled in 'Settings app > Safari > Extensions' on your iOS device. If it's already enabled, try disabling and then re-enabling it. Also, please ensure that you're using the YouTube website within the Safari browser as the app doesn't block ads in other apps like the YouTube app. If the problem persists, you may try logging out of YouTube or using Safari's private mode to bypass YouTube's latest anti-adblock mechanism. Lastly, ensure you have the latest version of AdBlock Pro and iOS installed as it can solve many out of norm issues.

Solar Boy ,

Doesn’t work anymore!!!

Doesn’t block Youtube ads. Worked last week but stopped this week. Pls let us know if you’re going to fix this issue. Thx.

Developer Response ,

It seems you may be encountering a common misunderstanding. Our app blocks ads while browsing in Safari, not within other apps like YouTube. To block ads, we recommend using the website version of apps within Safari. Also, ad-blocking technologies evolve over time, sometimes affecting performance. Therefore, we regularly update our app to address this. Please also ensure that you have the app enabled properly in 'Settings app > Safari > Extensions' (iOS) or 'Safari > Settings... > Extensions' (macOS). Hope this helps!
