App & website seriously deficient
I have been using Aerofleet for years always just calling them an hour ahead of my trip and all the time very satisfied with the prompt service. This week the need arose to order a car not for myself but to pick up a relative at the airport. Apparently the staff was not allowed to take credit card payment over the phone. But I did not know that before the car was ordered and after many back & forths a manager finally took the payment. So today for the trip back to the airport for the same relative I tried to book a car on the website. But the code is so bad I cannot specify the exact time of 12:30pm for the next day. Tried doing it from browser on iPhone, iPad and Mac - could not get the exact time in. That is why I had to resort to the Aerofleet app because I was thinking it had to use the spin wheel widget to select the time. And indeed that was the case. Order placed and hopefully the actual service end of it tomorrow will be smooth like normal (so I don’t have to call them to complain). This whole process is rather annoying and website should work properly. I guess few people actually would get to the point of having to use the app so there is not a lot of reviews & feedback. The app itself feels like it was coded by an amateur so really should be 1 star but I’m giving it 2 in anticipation the service end is done right.
Tried this app repeatedly. It never works. I still use these guys for my trips to YYZ but man it’s frustrating trying to book by iPhone.
Awful. It crashes regularly so it’s difficult to book a trip. I just phone now instead of using this - not preferred because I like getting email receipts instead of keeping track of paper slips.
