Alphabear 2 is an original English word puzzle game by Spry Fox, and the sequel to our hit 2015 game!
In Alphabear 2, you spell words by selecting letters on a puzzle grid. When you use letters that are adjacent to each other, bears appear! The more letters you use, the bigger the bear gets, and the more points you earn. Spelling words cleverly is the key to success!
Collect Bears:
When you solve the puzzles, you'll earn new bears for your permanent collection. These bears can team up to help you in future games! They increase the points you earn, extend your timer, modify the game board, and more.
Bear humor:
Fans of the original Alphabear will appreciate the much-improved "bear speech" -- the words you spell will appear in funny cartoons like always, but the all-new templates come with a huge variety of backgrounds and amusing props.
Built-in dictionary:

VERY good game!
I’ve been an avid fan of the original Alphabear for a while now, and this game is basically a more modernized version of it. You still have cutesy bears and fun missions, but this game adds on to that, introducing meaningful customization and a deeper storyline. That said, however, the game also employs a loot box system that everyone seems to be so into at the moment, and uses its original energy system. The loot box system isn’t oppressive or bad; it is actually quite helpful and fun. However, the energy system needs some work. After you get your free honey from ads, there is no way to get more but wait. Devs should introduce a way to buy more with the coins, or even introduce a purchase that garners unlimited honey.
Edit: after playing for a while, wow the energy really does limit you. I can only play maximum four matches at any given time. I have hit level 3-17, and I can’t get closer than 1000 from the target score. I also can’t do any events or bear school because they are too difficult.
In conclusion, Alphabear 2 improves on the original in nearly every measurable way.
My favourite game
This is my favourite word game to play. Lots of fun and variety.
Replaced an great game with a money grab
Can’t go further without leveled up bears - or buying them! Can’t level up more than once a week - but you can buy levels! Or you can get new bears with items that you earn in the game you can’t progress in - or you can buy those items! I paid for the game. Didn’t realize I only paid for a mini version. Shame on you!
