A well designed experience not meant for gamers

I’ll say this once and once only: This game is strictly not for gamers, as gameplay will certainly not match their standards of what’s considered “gameplay”.

I’ll get the basics out of the way:
> Nice design
> Really calm and soft OST
> No pay to win in sight
> Not a single intrusive ad anywhere (take that VooDoo)
> Has everything a clicker game should have
> Nice anime character design
> Clean interface
> A game that shouldn’t be done in one sitting

Alright, that’s out of the way, now for the real review. I mean, the real, in-depth and detailed review a developer like you wants to see, and this isn’t a bot review either.

I found this game at the right time. I found myself at a difficult time of existential based questions, asking myself what kind of person I am and I see this “game”, or I should say experience, on the App Store. Apart from the tranquil soundtrack and gameplay of collecting what’s known as “EGO” and spamming the auto-collectors, I find myself resonating with what one could consider as a side character named “Es”, as you, the player, are the main characters.

The description of this game clearly states that this is about self discovery, meaning this won’t be for everyone, unfortunately, but for those who need something to help find who they are, this is a place to start. You won’t find your answer here, but the game will show you real life novels that have been written based on the theme of self-discovery. If you find yourself consistently looking at yourself as a self-loathing person, hang out with Es for a bit. She’ll be a little cold, yes, but trust me, with the personality tests and stories that you, and you personally, will interpret, you’ll forget this is even a game.

It’s strange how a game worth 10.99 that’s free is something that will help me with seeing who I am.

The sad Potato ,

I absolutely love this game

I wish it would still collect ego when not on the app so multitasking was available instead of just staring and tapping at a screen for a long time waiting for enough ego to unlock another part- otherwise I absolutely love the soundtrack, art, and concept. Great work!!

Also needing to go through the game so many times just because I wasn’t able to tame ES sucks :( I wish you could still get your ending not taming ES and that if you didn’t tame her then it would add to the ending you receive.

Both introspective and fun, I’ve been playing this nonstop.kinda worried about myself developing a dependence on Es now, though...
