Backgammon
Don’t waste your time & energy on this app. Tired of it closing in the middle of a game, it takes the good numbers on the dice roll to send your move back or block it. Had enough! No more!!
Good time waster but flawed
This game is good at wasting time. However, after 356 games I found the following statistics hard to judge that it was well crafted:
1) The computer has an almost double chance of rolling doubles compared to the user.
2) After the user get all checkers into their inner board the computers average roll is above 10, while the user drops to just below 6. At this point the computers double count nearly doubles to be just under 3.8 times the users.
3) When deciding who will go first there is a 99% chance it will roll doubles. Only once did it not out of 356 times. Second roll for who goes first will be 88% it will roll doubles.
4) The computer always uses the lowest number to move first.
5) Occasionally, there will be phantom chequers on the board. Sometimes you see them, sometime not, but cannot move them. The game never completes because you cannot move them.
6) Sometimes when you roll doubles as your last move it fails to recognize that you have completed. This always seems to occur when you move two pieces off.
7) 5 seems to be the computers favourite die number. It shows up on just over 32% of the rolls. I would have expected something closer to 17%.
8) Repeated rolls happen often. In one case 3, 1 came up 18 times in a row in a single game.
Full of cheats
This game is tricked and full of cheats. The more games you play, you start losing almost every one of them: i.e you hardly get double dices but only bad combinations, while your opponent gets most of the dices he needs to win.
The goal is to make you exhaust your free points so you buy more.
Stay away, this game is not legit.....
