Great game
Pretty tough opponent at the expert level. My only beef is the annoyance of the screen being dimmed when it doubles - makes it very difficult to assess your situation.
Not bad but two major bugs
The game is fun but playing against the computer, it consistently makes a terrible error with the doubling cube. It accepts way too many doubles and then frequently re-doubles when it shouldn’t even have accepted the initial double in the first place. When I re-re-double, at least it immediately concedes. This gives the non-computer player a great advantage.
The second problem with this app is it doesn’t understand what a backgammon is. The game will declare a backgammon has occurred even if the losing player has cleared all his men from the opponent’s home board.
One other glitch I wish they would fix; they should allow a player to concede a game when it is hopeless. It is depressing to continue when you know the game or the match is unwinnable.
