To visually challenged: don’t be shy; ask.

I have provided assistance a total of three times. I would be happy if I had more opportunities to help. As a sighted person my message is: use this as though you were just casually asking a sighted friend standing next to you for assistance. The ratio of sighted to non on this app is so high in favour of the sighted that no request can be a burden; if a ring is inconvenient it just gets passed instantly to the next willing volunteer.

Easy to use app, as a volunteer

I answered my first call as a volunteer. It was a man, asking me to identity the monetary value of U.S. currency. He held up several different bills & asked me to tell him the value of each. They were all $5 bills. In the end, he said I have $20 total. He was thankful & asked where I was from. I said Canada, explained how our currency is all different colours & braille. He was all smiles & had a chuckle about it. Using this app is so easy, small effort, big help.

Not usable if you're Deaf-Blind

I can't hear, so this app doesn't work for me since it requires a voice call. Please add text chatting to this app to make it possible for sighted volunteers to chat with Deaf-Blind people. If that feature were added, I would probably use the app for things that weren't confidential.
