Description

Brainwave entrainment (BWE) technology, which uses rhythmic stimuli to alter brainwave frequency and thus brain states, has been investigated and used since the late 1800s, yet many clinicians and scientists are unaware of its existence.

Old version I’d give 5 stars... new version not so much

The old version was fantastic, I wish nothing had changed. Setting up a custom therapy in the new version is more difficult and very annoying- you have to create a hashtag, write a description of a minimum number of characters, and a name before you can saver use the therapy. Before you could just select the Hz level and length of time as easy as setting an alarm on your phone - please bring back this feature!! It was SO much better before.
Also, the new version says that it is compatible with iOS 9.0 or newer, but I spent an hour trying to help a client with an iOS 9.3.6 use the app and it won’t work - they can download it fine, but it will not let them log in with gmail or Facebook, so they can’t use it.

Please bring back features before update

My clients use these devices in our practice, but since the app was last updated they are no longer able to change the time the device runs (adding or subtracting 10 mins). I’ve had several complaints about this so please consider reinstating that feature. It’s also a lot harder to set up custom settings, so also consider making that feature more user friendly or change it back. Otherwise, great device and great results.

EDIT:
Updated my original three star rating back to five stars. They reinstated the feature of being able to add and subtract time, as well as now showing what Hz the settings are at which is a useful feature. They’ve also consolidated the bellabee and bellabee health apps into one so you no longer have to switch back and forth between apps.
