How to set metric units ?

Very nice, easy to use. Could not find where to change to metric (distance and height). Miles do not mean anything to me.
Your paper map shows some metric units why not this app ?
If not, I will rather use my GPS.

Dumb route planner

Why do I have to route from Calgary to Missoula USA or whatever IT’s called to bike 12 km to a local shop? Makes no sense.
