Bluebook Exams 4+

A handful of students started to experience a problem with getting booted out from the bluebook app after selecting a response to the question. The error message reads “We Encountered an Error” under it a caption saying “Please return to the homepage. Then click ‘Resume Testing’ to get back to your exam.”

This error persisted throughout the entire duration of the exam for 4 students, during which they had to reopen and reload the app numerous times in order to get to the next question. On top of this disruptive and arduous process that they had to undergo, the timer never paused when they were booted from the app. This issue greatly affected the students abilities to perform optimally and in some cases prevented them from completing the exams on time.

I believe this to be a Bluebook app issue, as teachers and IT tried several methods to resolve it including, restarting app and device, changing connections, connecting to hotspots etc.

This app is ok, except for one major pitfall: it cannot go fullscreen on a mac. This makes the app really small and really hard to read.
