I don’t normally write reviews, but in this case I will.
There is in my opinion a lot of “junk” out there but once in awhile a product comes along that I think deserves a high five.
I am not a professional,but this Bosh Professional GLM 50c, (which has been updated) is one of the best measuring tools I have used.It is handy that can be attached with it’s included case to your belt and is only the size of a small tv remote.
At first I was very sceptical as I had a cheaper,none Bosh unit a few years back, which I used to hold down my paperwork,useless!!
My best advise is to look it up and see the features, it is fantastic!
It holds up to 29 measurements so no need for paper, and is accurate to a 32 of an inch.
For the first 8 or 10 measurements I did, I double checked it with a conventional measuring tape, and now that I trust it completely no more tape.
You can set it to measure from the front, back or even the middle of the unit. Which is handy if measuring inside a window frame or wall to wall
This particular model measures up to 165’ but you will still need a tape(unless the newer models are different) for anything under 5”.
There are MANY extremely handy features on this you should check out, and for, at the time under $100,I highly recommend this for professional or a none professional like myself.
It also takes only 2 AAA batteries which I have replaced once in 6 months of average use.
I know, I sound like I either work for the company or am getting paid, I assure you I am just a hard working labourer, which is extremely tired of the JUNK out there and believe that the very rare items that come along are worth the money and should get a high 5 if they deserve it

Je vois qu’il y a une essaie gratuite de 19$ par mois pour avoir un cloud, qui par ailleurs n’en coûte que 5$ pour 1T chez Apple, c’est très dispendieux pour un application qui est très lente, très pratique mais vraiment trop lente. Je fait fonctionner cet application sur un IPad Pro 2020 donc ce n’ai pas la machine qui ne fournit pas.

Free Cloud is useless. Please fix.

So I signed up to Bosch online through the app. Saw 200mb. I’m like great. I only need to do it for my small DIY project.
It’s useless. Your measurements will not transfer.

I wasted an hour drawing and measuring on my iPhone. So that I’ll later use it on my ipad.
But now I’ll have to do it again on the ipad.
What a waste. Or signup for the $20/monthly for that feature. 🤷‍♂️

The key features of MeasureOn (such as sketching a room including calculating room calculations, transferring measurements from your laser or exporting individual elements) are still available for free and always will be. You can export single elements of the workspace via clicking on the element (room plan, photo, note) on the workspace and click "share". Please understand that for premium features (such as CAD export, export of entire projects with your own logo or synchronization across multiple devices and cloud backup) MeasureOn PRO is required.
