Boxy SVG 4+

Got the app to help me design some logos for work. I am NOT a graphic designer in any way, so needed something simple. Boxy fits the bill. I got started with it in no time and designed a simple logo. One minor bug is that it doesn’t export correctly bold fonts. They become regular fonts, which messes up the design somewhat.

This is a known bug. More specifically, it affects only synthesized bold fonts (i.e. fonts that are generated automatically by the operating system by offsetting a regular font). Unfortunately I won't be able to fix this issue until necessary API is implemented by Paper.js library: https://github.com/paperjs/paper.js/issues/371

Text tool is a bit buggy.
Page size and "view port" configuration a bit cryptic for the non-initiated.
Can't print text on Mac, workaround: use Chrome to print.
Otherwise a very decent tool to edit SVG.

You should be able to change the color of a text or a line using the "Fill" and "Stroke" panels. Note that you have to select the object first and then click the "Solid fill" button in case the color picker is not visible.

Boxy SVG uses the the same rendering engine as Chrome, so there might be some performance issues when editing files that make heavy use of some filter primitives or contain thousands of paths. I expect those problems to be resolved by Google in near future.

Please send me (jarek@boxy-svg.com) a sample file that causes issues so that I could research it further.
