Build-Your-Own-Distortion (BYOD) is an audio plugin that allows the user to create custom guitar effects, with a focus on guitar distortion. The plugin contains emulations of guitar distortion and tone-shaping circuits from various, along with a handful of other useful effects.

probably the best emulator on ios

in fact if you are looking for overdrive with texture this is it. this is the CORRECT sound for a ts9 or centaur. be certain to place this app AHEAD in the signal chain, then the amp sim, and then a very light compressor to level the ios shrill.
big name apps will give you graphics and kill cpu but their sound is incorrect. bi*s amp 2, f*ender, amplit*ube, etc... will eat away the cpu but their sound is incorrect. (my guitar experience dates to 1994, i have an idea of sound at this point)
