Nice app for camera but video ?
You can’t record video with the app
Save your money. No better than Camera+ version 1.
If you already have Camera+ version 1, don't bother with this version "upgrade". The other reviewers who started this version adds little if any new functionality are correct.
Version 2 adds a facelift and minor tweaks - hardly enough to qualify as a full version release. These should simply have been provided as version 1 updates.
What are standard controls in competing camera apps are not even part of this version 2. Example: ProCamera does a far better job at everything Camera + 2 does including staying on the previously selected shooting mode, shoot video, scan bar codes, etc.. This is all despite the authors droning on about how version 2 is a complete rewrite from the ground up... blah, blah, blah.
For those of us that have actually paid the money to buy the app, the rewrite isn't worth the money charged because it doesn't effectively beef up the app in any substantive or even visible way.
Yes, they've thrown in some filters that were paid versions in version 1, but that's just not enough. Save your money for version 3 or but ProCamera instead. No regrets there. No, I'm not affiliated with any app developer. I just get vocal when app developers make a raft of statements their app doesn't live up to.
Still my favorite camera app for photography
Macro mode and white balance alone are worth the price of admission.
